Hello world!

Posted under Administrivia

Welcome to the ActualWare ActualBlog. I promise I won’t be tacking “Actual” onto the front of every other word. ActualWare is my (Sean McCune’s) attempt at creating a micro-ISV. I will be developing software and selling it direct from this site. The software will be geared toward individuals and small businesses and helping them organize and do the things they need to get done during the day. Sometimes the software will be for sale, other times there will be freebies and some open-source frameworks and libraries that other geeks can utilize and hopefully find useful. I’ll be concentrating on Mac OS X and Windows as my target platforms, although an occasional Linux app will make its way in there, as well.

This blog is where I’ll be posting about any and all technical topics that grab my attention, especially software development topics. I’m guessing that it will tilt heavily toward Mac OS X and other unix flavors, but I do a significant amount of work on Windows, so I’m sure there will be some flare-ups of Redmond-itis. But if you read and like this blog, once it gets really rolling, your comments will also drive me as much as my own whims. So make yourself heard.
